1 “And he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb, 2 in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3 There will no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will serve Him; 4 they will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads. 5 And there will no longer be any night; and they will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illuminate them; and they will reign forever and ever.

6 And he said to me, “These words are faithful and true”; and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent His angel to show His bond-servants the things which must soon take place.

7 “And behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”

'Faith is not an intellectual thing.

It's a feeling.

You don't have to believe.

You only have to have the intent to believe.

You cannot will yourself to faith, but once you've removed the obstructions,

faith will be there

because it's a natural part of your being'

I shot this while skiing XC at Scenic Caves--you can see the edge of the track on the right. I think that deer have eaten all the underbrush.

'Het Speulderbos' is called ' the forest of the dancing trees'. The forest is not just mysterious, it is also very rare. It's a paradise for birds (of prey), deer, badgers and wild boars. So there is enough choice to have a good time!

This Fraser fir served us well as our Christmas tree but it exceeded it’s “ best before date” . As we carried it out of the house it left a huge trail of needles !

An old thorn tree is hollowed out by many winters. Grown out through the ruins of an ancient dry stone dyke wall.

I was feeling good this morning so headed out to Hayfield for a walk over the hills in the spring sunshine. A bit chilly in the wind but great to be out in the fresh air.
